What Do You Serve at a Gender Reveal Party?

Epic food and dessert bites are a necessity for parties all year long. Especially for a gender reveal party where food can be a source of revealing the gender of your baby, making finger-licking good is very crucial. Serve your guests with the best food and make your event praise-worthy.

Here are some finger foods and dessert ideas to treat your guests' taste buds.

Finger Foods

Typically, a gender reveals party has finger food and not a full-fledged buffet. The reasons for this preference are that they offer convenience, are easy on your budget, and on top of everything, they can be made in a variety of different flavors to add more charm to a party table.

You have an endless amount of options when it comes to finger foods. Even quiche can be made in so many ways that it is everyone's top choice for serving at a party. Like you have mushroom and sausage quiche, goat's cheese, chorizo quiche, chicken and asparagus quiche, and the most commonly loved - quiche lorraine.

Here are some finger foods that look perfect on a gender reveal party table.

Mini Ham and Cheese Dough Balls

No matter what dish you are adding ham in, it will make it delicious. Make cheese and ham dough balls that will set the mood of a gender reveal party table.

In a large bowl, take 3 cups of bechamel sauce, 1 cup ham, 1 cup gruyere, 1 cup Emmental, 1 cup dijon, 1 teaspoon of salt, and a teaspoon of black pepper. Mix until well combined, evenly distribute them in ice cube trays and toss them in the freezer for about 4 hours.

Make small balls out of pizza dough (20 grams each) and put one frozen cube inside each ball. Lay these dough balls on a baking tray lined with parchment paper and brush with egg. Bake these ham and cheese balls at 200°C for 30 minutes.

Cucumber Bites

These cucumber bites give the absolute best taste of dill, mayo, and cream cheese.

In a large bowl, mix four tablespoons of cream cheese, 3 tablespoons mayonnaise, one tablespoon of the ranch, a pinch of salt, and a little dill.

Cut large slices of cucumber and take some of their center parts out. Fill the inside of these cucumber slices with the cream cheese mixture you just prepared.

Cheese-Loaded French Fries

Level up your french fries game with these amazing cheesy french fries that have the perfect flavor and an amazing look.

Peel and cut two large potatoes and soak them in water for about 10 minutes. After that, put them in boiling water with 1 teaspoon salt for about 4 minutes to partially cook them. Remember, they should only be 50% cooked. You do not want to cook them completely.

Spread your half-cooked potatoes on a cloth and sprinkle 2 tablespoons of cornflour on them. Let them dry for a bit in the open space, after which you will fry them in hot oil until their color turns light brown. Take them out of the pan, soak excess oil, and put them on a serving plate.

Meanwhile, prepare the cheese sauce. Put 1 tablespoon of butter in a pan on medium heat. Add around 2 tablespoons of finely chopped onions and let them saute. Onions will give this sauce the desirable texture. Add a pinch of red chili powder and a pinch of turmeric and mix. In the end, add 2 cheese slices and 2 tablespoons of mozzarella cheese and let it cook for a minute while you stir continuously.

Pour the cheese sauce on the potatoes. Top it with black olives and tomato ketchup if you like, and munch on these amazing fries.
